Sandgaard Foundation
Thomas is the Founder and President of the Sandgaard Foundation. The Sandgaard Foundation seeks to address the opioid epidemic by helping to fund initiatives that save lives from opioid overdose, help people escape the cycle of relapse, and support victims and their families.
Recent grantees include Yale University, The Voices Project, Recovery Fest, Mobilize Recovery, and The Colorado Naloxone Project.

Thomas is the Founder, Chairman, President, and CEO of Zynex Inc. Zynex Inc. is a publicly-traded medical device company that he founded in 1996 (NASDAQ: ZYXI).
Zynex Inc. engineers, manufactures, markets, and sells its own design of medical devices in three subsidiaries.
Zynex Medical™ is a provider of electrotherapy products for home use.
Zynex Monitoring Solutions™ develops products for cardiac monitoring for use in hospitals.
Zynex NeuroDiagnostics™ develops devices for EMG and EEG diagnostic purposes in the neurology clinic markets.
Thomas has an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and is the driving force behind Zynex’s strategy and growth.
Background:
Thomas previously held senior management positions with companies such as ITT, Siemens, GN Danavox, Dataco, and Philips. Most of his work has been focused in the areas of international sales and distribution, technology transfers, mergers and marketing management in the semiconductor, telecommunications, data communications, and medical equipment industries. He has a degree in electric engineering from Denmark’s Odense University of Engineering and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School.
Thomas was born in Denmark, moved to the United States in 1996, and became a U.S. citizen in February of 2018. Before starting Zynex Inc., Thomas worked in recording studios, organized large venue concerts, and played in numerous rock bands. Thomas is currently the lead guitarist of his band, Sandgaard which includes lead singer, Robert Mason (of Warrant), and bass guitarist, Rich Ross (of the Freddy Jones Band).

Kyle Co-Founded Xcel Companies in 2009. Xcel Companies is a robust merchant service, expense reduction, and consulting organization.

Opportunity Coalition
Kyle Co-Founded the Opportunity Coalition non-profit in 2013. The Opportunity Coalition is a 501(c)4 Social Welfare Organization that promotes and facilitates a business-friendly environment that encourages free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
The Opportunity Coalition hosts powerful, live speaking events with past speakers that include icons and visionaries such as the Founders/CEOs of ReMax, Keller Williams, the Denver Broncos (NFL), the Colorado Rockies (MLB), Molson Coors Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery, 1st Bank, Global Down Syndrome, Baby Einstein, the University of Colorado, and many more.

Kyle and his family are featured on the TV show, “Hanging with the Henderson’s”, on Animal Planet (owned by the Discovery Channel). To date, the show has filmed and aired two seasons in international markets.
